1. WARRANTY

For a period of 84 months (and total warranty not exceeding 84 months) from this date the CTC Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps (products) shall receive CTC-UK’s 7-year parts and 7-year labour warranty on the product installed, subject to the following provisions set out below:

• That the product has been paid for in full and the title has passed from CTC.
• That the product has been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and has been installed by a competent installer with relevant qualifications.
• The warranty only applies to parts and components within the CTC product range and therefore doesn’t include any pipework, connections or other ancillary equipment connected to the product.
• CTC Heat Pumps will be subject to the extended warranty if installed with 3rd party Cylinders and Buffers only supplied by Go Geothermal Ltd. If any main part is sourced elsewhere the system will have to be checked by a CTC approved installer/technician to make sure it is compatible with our products.
• CTC reserve the right to inspect the product, at the premises, before the commencement of any warranty work. The 84- month warranty covers parts and labour only in relation to the CTC manufactured parts that have become defective due to faulty design and/or material.
• The CTC product must be protected by an approved magnetic system filter installed and placed on the return pipe back to the CTC unit.
• Your company/installer MUST attend the CTC training course and receive a certificate of completion. From the date of purchase from Go Geothermal of your CTC product you have 6 months to attend CTC training. If this is not met, you will only receive standard warranty. If you attended training from January, the 1st 2024 you are subject to 7 years parts and labour warranty on all CTC products. Please also note to keep the certificate valid a refresher course will be needed annually.

2. ACTIVIATION OF WARRANTY

The product must be commissioned by the installer. When completed a copy of the commissioning report will need to be sent to CTC-UK to activate the warranty, this must be done within 30 days of the CTC Heat Pump being commissioned by following the link below, failure to do so may affect the warranty:

3. MAINTENANCE

The product must be maintained in accordance with the product manufacturers instructions as described in the installation and servicing manuals provided with the product.

Annual servicing is required.

Upon Annual Service all service records must be completed with the service log sheet, the completed log sheet should clearly state that the fluids and filters were checked & replaced/filled or cleaned appropriately. Failure to provide this as a bare minimum on service records WILL negate your warranty. Annual brine maintenance involves the following parameters:

• The Glycol pressure is sustained between, 0.5-2.0 Bar.
• Glycol freezing temperature is maintained at -15 degrees Celsius.
• Filter cleaning.

If these maintenance requirements are not constantly adhered to, the warranty will become void. The product will then only be covered for the statutory 12-month parts-only warranty.

If as part of the Warranty claim Go Geothermal Ltd may request the original design detail (e.g. Desktop modelling print off for MCS) this must be provided, as offers reassurance against under or oversized collectors. This will include vertical driller’s involved consequently providing proof of the depth drilled and materials used.

4. HOW TO CLAIM

When it is determined that there is a fault with the product, the installer/maintenance company should contact CTC-UK on your behalf using the contact details provided below, and request assistance in rectifying the fault.

5. DISCLAIMER

CTC-UK without limitation shall not be liable for any consequential, direct, indirect or special loss or damage, costs, expenses and/or other claims for compensation whatsoever, which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use.

In no event will CTC-UK be liable in this warranty for any of the following costs or repairs:

• Incorrect selection of the product.
• Incorrect Installation of the product.
• Lack of adequate maintenance.
• No Unauthorised modifications to be made by end user or installer, without Authorisation by a CTC approved installer/technician

FORCE MAJURE

In the event CTC-UK are unable to perform their contractual duties due to the occurrence of events outside of their control, they will be released from all obligations held under this warranty until a time where it becomes reasonably feasible to perform their duties. Such events may include, but are not limited to; extreme weather, pandemics, labour strikes, fires and any other uncontrollable and unforeseen incidents or events.

6. LIMITATIONS

• Any labour carried out on the Product and Parts replaced shall not be provided with an extended warranty.
• This warranty covers parts only subject to the faulty parts being returned to CTC for evaluation.
• This warranty cannot be transferred from one CTC product to another.
• This warranty statement does not affect the statutory rights of the End User.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS EXCEPTED

Every care is taken to ensure that all information within this warranty document is correct. However, there may still be errors. CTC-UK strive to make sure all relevant parties are kept up to date with changes to the product warranty, however, this may not always be the case. Therefore, please be aware errors and omissions accepted.
