Her entire career
Sarah Sparkes has worked in the heating industry her entire career, which makes her ideal for her new role as a Key Account Manager at Go Geothermal.
She joined Wolseley, the UK’s largest trade specialist in plumbing and heating, after leaving university with a degree in French and Business.
As a Key Account Manager, she worked with the company’s customers to meet their plumbing and heating needs and having a foreign language qualification even took her abroad to work.
From Wolseley, Sarah joined Geberit, a European market leader in bathroom products, where she worked on the commercial team.
But she returned to Wolseley three years later as an Area Sales Manager, leading a team of Key Account Managers, and then joining the New Build team as a Regional Account Manager in 2020.
This is now one of her key focus areas in her new role with Go Geothermal, covering an area which includes her home county of Dorset, Oxfordshire, and Sussex.
Sarah says: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the company when the renewable energy sector is really starting to take off and I am looking forward to making my own contribution to the growth of the company.
“New build has been identified as a key area for Go Geothermal, so I am hoping to use my experience and existing contents to introduce our products to even more customers, as well as working closely with our existing ones.”
Outside of work, Sarah is married with a two-year-old daughter and when she’s not chasing around after a toddler, she enjoys kite surfing with her husband.
